Sydney and Gavin went swimming over at my cousin's house on Friday. They take swimming lessons together in town on Wednesday nights and their lessons last only a half an hour. It just dosen't seem to be enough for either of them. They could swim all day if we would let them. Alex and Rikki are a whole different story though, they are really not very interested in getting into the pool. I took them on Sunday and sat them on the step between myself and my cousin Molly, we were within 2 feet of them at all times and I actually had my arms around them almost the whole time. Rikki wanted to put some goggles on and when I was helping her, Alex bailed of the first step, I was able to grab her immediatly. Then Sydney says, "hey Mom, watch me." So I look up at her and Rikki bails off the first step. A little stressful at the pool on Sunday, so on Friday neither Rikki or Alex was really wanting to get near the pool. Alex spent most of her time collecting goggles and putting them around her neck and Rikki spent most of her time watering Jennifers flowers. I put them in the pool to cool them off occasionally and they weren't very happy with me. We are going back to the pool today for cousin Riley's birthday party, maybe we will try again. It just surprises me how Sydney was a little waterdog at this age and the twins really don't want anything to do with it. Somehow I mananged to not get any pictures of Rikki on Friday. I will try to do better today.
